OUR TEAM

Dr. Ramon Gonzalez serves as a professor of educational leadership and policy studies at Boston University’s Wheelock College of Education & Human Development, where his research focuses on entrepreneurial school leadership, flexible school calendars, literacy initiatives, and resource allocation.

As the founding principal of the Laboratory School of Finance and Technology in New York City, Dr. Gonzalez mentored over 100 aspiring leaders, and pioneered community literacy programs, employment pipelines, alternative graduation pathways, and leadership development. He has also been nationally recognized by the New York Times, PBS, and awards including National Principal of the Year & White House Champion of Change.

Dr. Reginald Landeau Jr., an unwavering advocate for educational excellence, has dedicated three decades to New York City's public school system, rising from Paraprofessional to Master Principal.  Under his visionary leadership, MS 216Q transformed from the district's lowest-performing school to its top middle school, earning the coveted US Department of Education’s National Blue Ribbon Schools Award and seeing Dr. Landeau honored with the Terrel H. Bell National Award for Outstanding School Leadership.

A passionate coach and influential voice, he has mentored educators into leadership roles, served as the President of the Black Caucus of the Council of Supervisors and Administrator, and has been a speaker at esteemed conferences. Dr. Landeau has been featured by national and local media including NBC News, The NY Times, Wall Street Journal, and NY Post.

With over 27 years of experience making education innovative and accessible, Edward Tom has served as Superintendent of the Icahn Charter Schools in New York City.

His leadership of the acclaimed Bronx Center for Science and Mathematics High School resulted in national rankings, millions in college scholarships, and an average 4-year graduation rate of 92% as chronicled in the PBS documentary called "Whatever it Takes."

A certified executive coach through Columbia University, Edward has demonstrated exceptional leadership, dedication, and proficiency in his tireless work to transform educational opportunities and outcomes for thousands of students.
